Our bodies know how to heal themselves
Emma Lui offers Craniosacral Therapy and ThetaHealing sessions to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Stress, burnout, patterns and trauma, including intergenerational trauma, can show up in our bodies as digestive issues, pain, tension, anxiety, depression and more.
In her own process of healing from food sensitivities, burnout and (intergenerational) trauma, Emma has explored various modalities and found Craniosacral Therapy and ThetaHealing deeply restorative and effective. She has completed Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (Level 1) and ThetaHealing training and loves using these modalities to support others in their healing process. As an empath, these come naturally to her as she has always been attuned to other people’s emotions and well-being.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a type of body work that uses gentle touch along the sacrum, spine and head to help release tension deep in the body. Biodynamic CST treats the body as a whole and is a client-led practice. Emma will attune to your body to support it in processing patterns, emotions and memories that are “stuck” and help bring you back into balance and well-being.
ThetaHealing is a technique used to clear limiting beliefs that are affecting you physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually. Using a combination of meditation and dialogue, we will work together to pinpoint core beliefs that are hampering your well-being. We will replace them with healthy beliefs that will help improve and make lasting changes to your overall health and life.
Emma is also studying holistic nutrition. Her belief that food is medicine is rooted in her Cantonese culture. Emma is also a writer and water/social justice activist. She is passionate about water because of its beauty, power and ability to nourish, heal and sustain life. Emma is passionate about health and sees personal health, the health of communities and the health of the planet as intimately connected. She practices in Ottawa and La Pêche, which is on the traditional, unceded territories of the Algonquin nation.
