Rough Amazonite 1278g

Amazonite is a green to blue-green variety of potassium feldspar, known as microcline, with a Mohs hardness of 6 to 6.5. Its distinctive colour ranges from pale mint to deep teal and is caused by trace amounts of lead and water within the feldspar structure. It has a vitreous lustre and is found in Brazil, Russia, Ethiopia, and the United States, among other locations.
